Capital Punishment

When a crime is commited there are many ways of making the criminal understand that what they did was wrong. In this essay im going to explain why capital punishment is probably the best way to take criminals out of the streets and let people live in peace. Even taking into account that justice many times get wrongful convictions.

Capital punishment is the best way to take criminals out of the streets, because the person that raped or killed (concerning murder self def'ence should be excluded) will never be a civilised person again, is just a one way road. Why so harsh? Every day many people is killed for stupid reasons or eventhought without one, and the murder who took away that life is the worst part of society and this kind of people are going to take our cities, our world to crazyness. This situation is shown in the movie "Dead man walking" where two girls where murdered and the family want the justice to kill him because they think it was just the correct judgement.

The justice system many times make mistakes and eventhought they do not have enough proofs against one person this one is sentenced and this is the only reason that capital punishment shouldn't be approved. This problem would be solved by passing through many stages before sentencing a person to death.

As a conclusion we can see that maybe we are going to approve capital punishment when we take it personally. At least in Argentina the justice system fails everyday and convicted people murder or rape again. This seems to be the only way out of this pandemic problem.

Career Choice

After the long period of kindergarten, primary and secondary school, people should make probably the decision of their lives: deciding which career they choose, and after it, they will work on what they studied.
On the one hand, people should not decide depending of what they say to them, some people try to convince you that you should make the career they choose or what gives you more money. However, you should decide for what you like, for what you think is the best choice for you and do not let influence by anyone.
On the other hand, sometimes, taking parents and adults advices may help children to help to choose their career. For example, when they do not know what career to choose.Otherwise, parents and adults may burn their children´s brain and they can think that choosing what they say, may be the best choice.
In conclusion, it depends on how your parents educated their sons. They could sometimes influence and sometimes not. Although, if they think in you, they will tell you to choice what do you think and follow your dreams.

Technology in the Classroom

Technology bringas many good things, knowledge, communication but it also has many negative aspects, distraction and harassment. When talking about this technology applied in the class helps a lot and makes things easier, not to mention the fact that it gives more freedom and control of what they are doing to children and adults.

  The advantage are through people every day, does not matter where they are technology is everywhere and that is one of the best things for learning; you take all you know to every place in the world. In addition people share their work with the whole world, furthermore it is very useful for everyone.

 On the other hand distraction attacks students during the class due to the fact that cellphones can be used anywhere and in silence, however exist some students that do not use the cellphone in class; while some kids make sport and enoy it other spend the whole day with computer games. As a result their grades start falling straight.

 All in all students enoy in many ways to work with technology and prepare them for the future, but also make life of teachers easier.

Connectors

Look Before You Leap

During the Language class, the teacher Andrea Schejter told us to write a story following the title: "Look before you leap". For this task, we were asked to use connectors,examples of direct speech, 2 similes, 1 metaphor and 2 examples of past perfect.

I visited William last week. I hadn´t seen him for more than ten years. I knocked on his door. "Who is there?" he asked. "Bro, here your old friend, Michael" I answered. He got his keys as quickly as a cheetah and opened the door. We greeted and went to the living-room, he inmediately offers me a beer.

Then we started talking about our past lives. Ten years without talking to each other, an entire decade. We talked abut everything, our lives, our girls, he told me that he had a son last year. Well... he told me "a little inofensive monster" I understood it like that. As result of the theme of his son, he told me "I have seen many schools for this creature, but I didn´t like any". I understood what he was telling me since I had the same problem with my son. I told him that he had to look before he leap, because choosing a school for your son or daughter is as difficult as climbing the Himalaya. After 3 long hours talking about our lives, we decided that it was hour to finish the conversation. Finally, we past from and he told me"come when ever you want, you are as good as a psychologist to help people". I thank him, and went away.
