Climates

Equatorial
This climate can be found inside the 5° from the Equator. The temperature do not vary very much, only about 2 C because the sun is always overhead in this climate. Annual range of rainfall exceed the 2000mm because of the warm air causing storms. At the morning take place a temperature of 25 degrees, and then when the sun gets to the highest point it reach up to 38 degrees. High temperatures in short periods of time causes clouds to form very quickly.
Tropical Continental:
It’s found far away from coasts,in the Brazilian highlands and parts Venezuela. It has two seasons;a dry and the wet season. During the wet season rainfalls increase. During the dry season the moisture is taken away by the wind because of the position of the sun consequently the clouds can’t be formed.
The monsoon:
The monsoon is divided in two ; The southwest and the northeast. In the southwest the influence of the sea is too far away. This makes it very hot so the moisture rises and forms clouds. The annual rainfall exceed 2000mm because of the colossal storms.
In the northeast monsoon the wind blows outwards from the high pressure area, but because they originate in dry areas they give only a small amount of rain in India but in the other season wind direction changes.
Hot Desert:
This is a climate with the highest temperature records. They have almost no precipitation because the winds came from the dry land and have to go across a lot of mountains so moisture can’t be rised, because is to dry as to pick up moisture.
Cold Climate:

Winters in this climate are very long, dark and very cold. It has the lowest temperatures of the earth. It has almost no influence from the sea. Precipitation is very low because the cold air do not rise moisture

Look Before You Leap

During the Language class, the teacher Andrea Schejter told us to write a story following the title: "Look before you leap". For this task, we were asked to use connectors, examples of direct speech, 2 similes, 1 metaphor and 2 examples of past perfect.

I visited William last week. I hadn´t seen him for more than ten years. I knocked on his door. "Who is there?" he asked. "Bro, here your old friend, Michael" I answered. He got his keys as quickly as a cheetah and opened the door. We greeted and went to the living-room, he inmediately offers me a beer.

Then we started talking about our past lives. Ten years without talking to each other, an entire decade. We talked abut everything, our lives, our girls, he told me that he had a son last year. Well... he told me "a little inofensive monster" I understood it like that. As result of the theme of his son, he told me "I have seen many schools for this creature, but I didn´t like any". I understood what he was telling me since I had the same problem with my son. I told him that he had to look before he leap, because choosing a school for your son or daughter is as difficult as climbing the Himalaya. After 3 long hours talking about our lives, we decided that it was hour to finish the conversation. Finally, we past from and he told me"come when ever you want, you are as good as a psychologist to help people". I thank him, and went away.

We made this image with the phrase "Look before you leap"

Completá a Otra Persona
